Cheap Trick, una banda de hard rock formada en 1974, durante todo este tiempo hemos escuchado sus canciones, que su letras se orientan mucho al amor. Una de las mas escuchadas o mas populares ha si do The Flame, en la que se describe como alguien sufrido por la partida de su chica, la perdida de ella, o la ausencia de su presencia - amor.


A pesar de estar muy adoptada por muchas personas que la consideran como una canción más de amor, vale la pena rescatar, y disfrutarla ademas como una gran canción del rock clásico, escuchandola siendo amante del rock y sus subgéneros , desde ese punto de vista la agrego como una entrada, del disco de 1988 Lap of Luxury: "The Flame".
